An unforgettable live musical journey across Elvis’ life based upon the memories and experiences of his fans, critics and friends. Consisting of flashbacks to Elvis’ famed career we are treated to an energetic, hip-shaking, humorous, controversial and dramatic look into the life of a legend featuring over 20 of Elvis’ top musical hits performed live by the cast, featuring Elvis Tribute Artists.

Mukwonago Village’s Players are proud to announce our next show “God’s Favorite” by Neil Simon and Directed by Pat Hitt.

Successful Long Island businessman Joe Benjamin is a modern-day ‘Job’ with a high-maintenance wife, ungrateful children and wise-cracking household help. Just when it seems things couldn’t get any worse, he is visited by Sidney Lipton aka A Messenger from God (and compulsive film buff) with a mission: test Joe’s faith and report back to “the Boss”. The jokes and Tests of Faith fly fast and furious as Neil Simon spins a contemporary morality tale like no other in this hilarious comedy.

White Christmas!

Mukwonago Village Players are proud to announce their production of Irving Berlin’s beloved musical “White Christmas”. Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is a delightful musical based on the 1954 smash hit movie of the same name. It tells the story of two army buddies, Bob and Phil, who put together a successful song and dance routine after World War II. With romance in mind, they follow two beautiful singing sisters to their Christmas gig at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by the men’s former Army commander. The men soon realize they are the only guests at the resort because there is no snow! In order to help the General out, they come up with a scheme to bring in a crowd. They convince the General that they’ve decided to stage their newest Broadway revue at his lodge, but secretly make a special television appeal to all their Army pals to show up on Christmas Eve. The show features classic Irving Berlin hits such as “Blue Skies”, “Sisters,” “Happy Holiday,” “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” “I Love a Piano” and of course, the unforgettable title song, “White Christmas”.

White Christmas Auditions

The Mukwonago Village Players are holding audtions for this years Christmas show - Irving Berlin’s White Christmas!

Auditions will be held Monday, October 10th and Tuesday, October 11th (both days at 6:30 PM) at Mukwonago High School, 605 West School Road, Mukwonago, WI 53149-1192 (approx 1/2 mile west of STH 83 on CTH NN).

For your audition, please prepare a song of your choice and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Auditions are open to anyone 16 years and older and girls 7-12 years old.

All roles are available. Casting is open and while experience is welcome, it is not required. Strong dancers that are non-singers are encouraged to audition as are singers that are non-dancers.

September 24th, 25th and October 1st and 2nd we will “Piggyback” with the Packer’s winning the Super Bowl with a show called “Women are from Venus, Men are from Green Bay.” This will be a Dinner Theater featuring tailgate food and a show at a very reasonable price. The Sunday shows will be before the Packer game. We are pleased to announce the return of Mary Nugent as director for the show.

December 9, 10, 16, 17 & 18 the MVP will perform White Christmas at Mukwonago High School. Grace Notes will fill the orchestra pit for our first production with a full orchestra. Auditions

Spring 2012, “God’s Favorite” will be performed at St. James Church in Mukwonago.

Memorial Day, 2012, we would like to do another USO Show if they will have us back. Once again we would like to feature the Mukwonago High School Students and the music from Grace Notes.

Summer 2012, Tony Davis is returning with an “Elvis Tribute” at Mukwonago High School. As you can see, we are moving in different directions, but mostly in directions with built in audiences in an effort to draw new patrons, members, and possibly people who will participate with the MVP.
