cheaperThe Mukwonago Village Players & St. James’ Theatrical Ministry are pleased to present Cheaper by the Dozen on April 17, 18, 24 and 25 at 7:30 pm and April 26 at 2:00 pm, at St. James Parish Center, HWY NN, Mukwonago.

Cheaper by the Dozen, adapted by Christopher Sergel from the book by Frank B. Gilbreth, Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey follows the hilarious highs – and lows – of family life when one of the great pioneers of industrial efficiency decides to apply his unorthodox methods to his very large and unique family. Hijinks and heartwarming family hilarity ensue when Dad’s methods encounter a hiccup, namely his teenaged daughter, Anne.

CAST

Mr. Gilbreth and Mrs. Gilbreth are played by Tim West and Laura Larson of East Troy and Mukwonago, respectively. Their eldest daughter Ann is played by Kadee Jankowsky of Mukwonago. Their other daughters, Ernestine, Martha, Lillian Eleanor and Jackie are played by Sarah Werth  (East Troy), Jamie Watkins (Mukwonago), Abby Williamson (Mukwonago), Grace Prochnow (Mukwonago) and Izzy Snyder (Waukesha). Their sons,  Frank, Jr., Bill and Dan are played by Thomas Sullivan (East Troy), Ryan Knudsen (East Troy) and Jackson Baumann (North Prairie). Mrs. Fitzgerald is played by Doris Gitzlaff (Eagle) and Miss Brill is played by Marsha Grutzmacher (Mukwonago). Dr. Burton is played by Carl Rosine (Mukwonago) and Larry is played by Vince Kornkven (Mukwonago), while Joe Scales is played by Brody Jones (Big Bend).
